Allegiance Industries, Inc. is hiring an unarmed School Resource Security Officer for an education facility in Charlotte, NC. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM.

On-the-job training provided as we strive to exceed client expectations, with opportunities for long-term career growth within our security team. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring cameras, de-escalating conflicts, handling investigations, reporting, and public interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of the facility
• Work and interact with children in a calm, friendly, and professional manner
• De-escalate minor conflicts verbally
• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk for long periods during shift
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders and Allegiance policy
• Obtain statements, write reports, interview and document information

Currently hiring: Unarmed School Resource Security Officer

Shift: Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

We are looking for you to…

• Conduct foot patrols of the facility
• Ability to work and integrate with children in a calm, friendly, and professional manner
• Ability to de-escalate minor conflicts verbally
• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk constantly (for multiple hours, up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt)
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner
• Law Enforcement Experience preferred, Security experience required.

Qualifications

You will have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Ability to work all shifts
• Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Guard License
