Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is seeking a part-time Weekend Officer for rotating weekend shifts (Saturday-Sunday, 6am-2pm, then 2pm-10pm on the alternate weekend). Occasional weekday coverage may be required to support the team.

The role includes monitoring cameras, reporting, and engaging with the public in a professional manner. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalency, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist Allegiance management with delegated duties and functions.
• Monitor security cameras and maintain situational awareness.
• Stand or walk for extended periods on various surfaces.
• Follow post orders and company policy and procedures.
• Obtain statements, write reports, interview and document information professionally.
• Conduct investigations concerning loss or damage to client property.
• Communicate safety concerns to staff and enforce safety guidelines.

Job description

This position is for a PT Weekend Officer, Rotating Shift of 1 weekend- Saturday - Sunday 6am - 2pm, and then the next weekend Saturday and Sunday 2pm - 10pm. On occasion, you will be expected to fill in hours during the week for others on the team.

We are looking for you to…

• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk constantly (for multiple hours, up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt)
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Guard License
