Job summary

Allegiance is hiring an Unarmed School Resource Security Officer in Charlotte, NC. The role requires a High School diploma, valid license, and ability to pass background checks.

Typical shift runs Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with on-the-job training. Responsibilities include patrolling the facility, interacting with students calmly, de-escalating conflicts, monitoring cameras, and assisting investigations and post orders.

We are looking for you to…

• Conduct foot patrols of the facility
• Ability to work and integrate with children in a calm, friendly, and professional manner
• Ability to de-escalate minor conflicts verbally
• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk constantly (for multiple hours, up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt)
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner
• Law Enforcement Experience preferred, Security experience required.
