Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer in Memphis, TN to monitor and patrol a retail location, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to customers and staff. Minimum requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing a background check and drug screen as allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and hazards and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures.
