Marksman Security is hiring immediately for unarmed PGR retail security officers on 2nd shift. We offer full-time and part-time openings to join a team trusted by major clients across the country.

Candidates should have a Texas security license, a valid TX driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. The role involves patrols, public engagement, and timely reporting of incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must have a current TX driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have a current Texas security license.
• Weekend availability.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to conduct extended foot patrols.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to identify potential safety and security risks in public areas.
• Engage with the public and respond to calls for service in the public right of way.
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
• Document all interactions in clear written reports and timely submissions.
• Communicate and pass on pertinent information to team members and the client.
• Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism or theft.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or prohibited items.
• Respond to distress calls, alarms or emergencies by contacting first responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced and followed.
• Other duties as determined by management.
