Job summary

Marksman Security seeks unarmed PGR Retail Security Officers in Texas for 2nd shift with both full-time and part-time openings. The rate is $16.32 per hour. Ideal candidates have prior security or customer service experience and hold a Texas security license.

Requirements include a valid Texas driver’s license, weekend availability, and the ability to conduct extended patrols and perform foot patrols. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Texas security license and a valid TX driver’s license.
• Professional demeanor, multitasking ability and strong communication; 1+ year in customer service and 1+ year in security.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to identify safety risks.
• Engage with the public and respond to calls for service.
• Maintain visible presence and professional public interactions.
• Document interactions with clear, concise reports and timely submissions.
• Pass on pertinent information to team members and the client.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism/theft.
• Warn violators and respond to distress calls.
• Identify and report safety concerns promptly.
• Enforce rules and follow management directions.
