Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring Unarmed PGR Retail Security Officers for the 2nd shift in San Antonio, TX, with full-time or part-time openings. Ideal candidates have security or customer service experience and a valid Texas Guard License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include patrolling, engaging the public, reporting incidents clearly, and maintaining a professional presence to protect retail partners and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Valid Texas Guard License.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug screening.
• Ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of areas in the public right-of-way to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Engage with the public and respond to calls for service in the public right-of-way.
• Maintain a visible presence and engage in professional public interactions.
• Document all interactions in clear and concise written reports.
• Communicate pertinent information to team members, safety teams, and the client.
• Monitor and/or detect suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
• Warn violators of infractions, including loitering, smoking, and possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls involving distress, alarms, fires, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances in a timely manner.
• Ensure all rules and regulations are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
