Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Tablet Reporting in Monee, IL. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors while operating tablet reporting tools.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
