Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a Wheaton, MD shopping mall. You will patrol, monitor, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time role requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule. CPR and state licensing are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors and staff by following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols in retail areas, parking facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor for security issues and report observations through site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions and lost-and-found inquiries as needed.
