Job summary

Allied Universal in Cumberland, MD is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Building Patrol to safeguard client sites in diverse industries. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work with a collaborative team while patrolling and assisting visitors.

You will monitor access, respond to incidents, complete reports, and maintain a visible security presence. Minimum requirements include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background investigation conducted in line with laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and security procedures at the chemical/petrochemical site.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, spills, and emergencies per site protocol.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, and perimeters.
• Verify credentials, log visitors, and report irregularities per procedure.
• Complete activity reports and patrol records accurately.
