Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Logistic Facility Patrol in Oceanside, CA. You will patrol a busy logistics site, monitor access points, assist with emergency responses, and maintain a professional security presence to deter incidents.

The role emphasizes customer service, location-specific procedures, and teamwork across shifts. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience, HS diploma, and background checks; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Background investigation conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, vehicle entrances, loading areas, and trailer activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and location requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians at the location in accordance with posted procedures.
