Job summary

Allied Universal is a leading security and facility services company seeking a Security Officer for our Oceanside logistics center in California. This full-time position focuses on safeguarding clients across logistics and distribution environments, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a secure site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols of loading areas, parking lots, doors, and perimeters.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and help verify that visitors, vendors, and authorized personnel follow site entry and credentialing requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:
