Job summary

Allied Universal in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Security Logistics Center Officer for a full-time graveyard shift. You will monitor the site, perform access control, patrol loading areas and facility perimeters, and provide dependable customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Guard Card or license preferred.
Access control or badge experience preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery traffic according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
Support the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic while monitoring package handling, shipping, and receiving operations.
