Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed for a hospital environment. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting. Tuberculosis tests and certain vaccinations may be required.

Starting pay is $16.75 per hour and compliance with safety protocols is essential. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license if driving, and licensing as required by state/local law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license if you may operate company- or customer-owned vehicle.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Must be at least 18 years old, or older per state.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform patrols on foot or by vehicle; document observations of security concerns.
• Assist staff with de-escalation; restrain combative individuals as needed per guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and disasters.
• Sound alarms or call authorities if fire or unauthorized entry occurs.
• Warn violators about rule infractions such as loitering or smoking.
• Monitor entrances/exits to ensure only authorized entrants.
• Observe departing personnel to deter theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents and write reports; maintain logs.
