Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Response Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and contribute to a welcoming campus environment. Pay Rate: $12.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Fri: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM
• Sun: 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting observations, patrols, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
