Altais is seeking a UM Coordinator to support Ambulatory and Concurrent Care, Network Management, Quality Improvement and Practice Success teams. You will manage authorizations, verify eligibility, and enter data into Tapestry to ensure timely processing under ICE guidelines.

You will serve as the primary contact for providers and staff, review requests, prepare denial letters, gather missing documentation, and uphold HIPAA confidentiality. This is a casual, 6-month contract position.

Competenze

• High school diploma.
• 2 years UM experience, medical records, medical billing, or medical office experience.
• 2-3 years Microsoft Office programs experience required.
• Certificate or equivalent experience in medical terminology, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding required.

Mansioni

• Handle all incoming authorizations via Tapestry Link or OnBase and verify eligibility/benefits with data entry.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external customers seeking authorization information.
• Review authorization requests per established review designations.
• Prepare denial letters under supervision of professional staff with accurate technical information.
