New York Imaging (NYI) in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, procedures) and communicate preliminary findings to radiologists, while maintaining equipment and adhering to radiology protocols.

RDMS Breast required; graduate from an accredited ultrasound program with 2+ years of experience. Strong communication and organization are essential for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent).
• RDMS Breast required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures).
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation.
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases.
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Description:

Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Hours: 4/10 hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Monday

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
