Job summary

Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, and deliver high-quality imaging for diagnosis. You will operate various ultrasound equipment, document findings, and support staff in patient education and safety.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT eligibility, an ultrasound program credential, and the ability to work as part of a clinical radiology team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible (required)
• ARDMS/ARRT registration or eligible (required)
• Advanced modality registration in Ultrasound (preferred or within 2 years)

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques for diagnosis
• Obtain and record images; document findings for physician interpretation
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort, privacy and safety
• participate in QA projects and audits; assist with education of staff and students
