Job summary

Mercy Health seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for Springfield Regional Medical Center to perform ultrasound procedures and provide direct patient care under Radiology leadership. The role requires graduation from an ultrasonography program with ARDMS/ARRT eligibility and preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible (required).
ARDMS or ARRT registration (required).
Advanced modality registration preferred or must obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound procedures and related techniques as directed by Radiology leadership.
Obtain and record patient history, prepare patient, and ensure safety and comfort.
Document sonographer impressions and relay findings to physician.
Maintain clinical competency across neural, vascular, abdominal, and obstetric modalities.
Contribute to performance improvement and education of staff and students.
