Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for Springfield Regional Medical Center to perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques under Radiology leadership. You will obtain, document, and analyze images to support diagnosis and patient care.

The role requires an ARDMS/ARRT eligible graduate, 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred, and proficiency with patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasonography program and ARDMS/ARRT registry eligible
• ARDMS or ARRT certification/registration required
• Advanced modality registration in Ultrasound preferred or within 2 years
• Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and related techniques as directed
• Obtains and records images and patient history for interpretation
• Ensures patient comfort, safety and privacy during procedures
• Documents sonographer impressions and relays findings to physician
• Assists in education/instruction of students and new staff
