Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality sonography with clinical judgment and patient safety in mind. The role involves preparing exam rooms, reviewing history, and assisting with image sharing and reporting.

The position is 40 hours per week with variable shifts and a comprehensive benefits package. ARDMS/ARRT or registry eligibility is required with ongoing education and CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• ARDMS or ARRT sonography registration or registry-eligibility; must register within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment per safety protocols.
• Ensure patient safety during the sonographic examination.
• Review patient history and prep; document findings.
• Assist with medical record/image sharing and reporting.
• Operate PACS and EMR; archive images for physician review.
