Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. The role emphasizes compassionate, timely direct patient care.

Required: Associates in Ultrasound or AMA allied health program; RDMS/ARDMS preferred; BLS preferred; 1 year experience preferred; EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates, AMA allied health training program in Ultrasound (required).
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS is preferred.
• 1 year ultrasound tech experience preferred; may be considered with training.

Responsibilities

• Confirms quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of data.
• Knowledge of imaging workflows, procedures, and processes.
• Responsible for patient documentation, procedure prep and instructions.
• Documents sonographer impressions and relays findings to physician.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and staff education.
