Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensure high-quality imaging. You will operate ultrasound equipment, adjust settings for optimal images, and upload studies to PACS while supporting daily department workflows.

The role requires RDMS certification, BLS within 30 days of start, and either a certificate or an associate degree in ultrasound.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Certificate or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images.
• Upload studies to PACS and support daily Ultrasound Department operations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Certificate, or Associate Degree
