Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and support the Ultrasound Department's daily operations. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, capture high-quality images, and upload studies to PACS, contributing to efficient workflow and patient care.

This PRN position requires BLS within 30 days, RDMS certification and a certificate.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification required.
• Certificate required as part of qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality images.
• Upload studies to PACS and support daily ultrasound department operations.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Certificate
