Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate and optimize equipment, and ensure high-quality images are captured and uploaded to PACS. You will contribute to efficient workflow and patient care in the Ultrasound Department.

The ideal candidate holds an RDMS certification and a current CPR/BLS certification, with the ability to support daily operations and maintain image quality in a fast-paced

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS certification is required.
• General certification as Ultrasound Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging for diagnostic evaluation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures using ultrasound imaging to detect and evaluate pathology. You will operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensure high-quality images are captured, and upload studies to PACS. In addition, you will support the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, contributing to efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Certificate
