Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Sonographer PRN to join our Radiology team, performing ultrasound procedures, operating equipment, and sending images to PACS. You will support the department and may work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate is a certified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with an associates degree or equivalent, ready to join a renowned healthcare system that emphasizes patient-centered

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate

Responsibilities

• Operates the ultrasound equipment and sends images to PACS
• Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department
• Uses sterile technique when necessary and assists the radiologist in all invasive procedures
• May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department
