Job summary

BayCare in Riverview's St Josephs South is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join the imaging team. The role involves performing diagnostic sonographic procedures and supporting patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will handle RIS data management, participate in file room and clerical tasks, and assist physicians. Shift is variable with on-call responsibilities; BayCare values trust, dignity, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Education is essential: Technical - Ultrasound or Associates - Ultrasound
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• RDMS (Sonography) within 1 year
• AART (Radiologic Technologists) credential required

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
