Job summary

BayCare Health System in Riverview, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist Pool at St. Joseph's South Hospital to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

The role supports operating room and emergency department imaging, imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room work, and general clerical tasks with strong customer service. Requirements include BLS, ARRT Registry Eligible (or ARRT within 6 months), Florida radiology licensure, and a Technical Diploma or Associate

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and ED imaging.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, and related clerical duties, plus physician assistance and patient transport.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Radiology Technologist Pool Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
