Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist Pool at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, FL. The role supports diagnostic imaging across departments, providing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with a patient-focused approach.

On-call and varied shifts are part of the schedule to meet community needs. Candidates should have a Florida radiology license or be eligible for ARRT certification, plus relevant radiology education (Diploma or Associate).

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ARRT registry eligibility; OR ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.
• Radiology – State of Florida license.
• Radiology education: Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support OR and ED diagnostic imaging services.
• Manage RIS data, file room, and general clerical duties; assist physicians; transport patients.

Radiology Technologist Pool Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Preferred

1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
