Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to perform sonographic procedures and assist in imaging patient care at our Winter Haven facility. You will be responsible for managing RIS data, clerical duties, and patient transportation.

The ideal candidate must possess an associates' degree in ultrasound, have BLS certification, and be able to complete RDMS certification within one year. This role includes variable shift hours and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital-related duties.
• Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Manage imaging patient care and data.
• Assist physicians and support patient transportation.

Summary

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
