Jimmy Jazz is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology & Imaging Department on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient comfort, and safety in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, positioning patients, maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and adhering to infection control and radiation safety guidelines. ARDMS certification and RDMS credentials are required, with CPR renewal within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited program and ARDMS registration.
• Must have RDMS credentials in AB, BR, OB/GYN, RVT and VT.
• One year of prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current CPR certification within three months of hire and remain current thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and perform all assigned ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of ultrasound equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork for each examination performed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report equipment issues to Radiology Manager.
• Provide courteous, safe patient care including transport and positioning assistance.
• Follow radiation safety, quality assurance, and infection control procedures.
