Job summary

MUS Mobile Ultrasound Services is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our on-site imaging team serving the New Jersey area. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, operating portable equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety with HIPAA-compliant record-keeping.

Qualified candidates hold ARDMS RVT/RDMS certification and NJ licensure or eligibility, with experience in abdominal, vascular, or OB/GYN imaging and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification RVT/RDMS or equivalent is required.
• Valid NJ state license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in diagnostic sonography (abdominal, vascular, or OB/GYN).
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations at office in New Jersey.
• Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Capture and document high-quality sonographic images for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA-compliant imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• ARDMS certification (RVT, RDMS, or equivalent) required
