Job summary

University Radiology Group in Maplewood, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist. The candidate should be ARDMS certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN, with 2+ years of experience. Vascular techs certified RVT in addition to other areas are encouraged. URG offers education reimbursement and a sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

The position requires adherence to safety protocols and a Monday–Friday schedule with potential Saturday work once a month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Vascular experience preferred.

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology Group is currently seeking aFull-Time Ultrasound Technologist for our Maplewood, NJ Imaging Office.

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm and one Saturday a month

Our Ultrasound Techs are also required to be certified in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN. Ultrasound Vascular Techs must be certified in RVT and at least one of these areas to qualify. URG will reimburse for educational materials and exams for additional certifications, as well as a bonus once obtained.

May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Pay Range:

From $40/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
