Job summary

Pulse Vascular in North Jersey is seeking a skilled Mobile Ultrasound Technologist to perform vascular ultrasound and reflux studies. You will travel between outpatient offices and off-site locations, based in Kearny, NJ, and serve Passaic, Paramus, Hackensack, and Paterson areas.

The role requires RDMS certification, RVT preferred with RVT within 6 months, high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. This part-time position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled mobile Ultrasound Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies in vascular sonography for our patients in the North Jersey area. The successful candidate will independently execute vascular ultrasounds to assist providers in identifying arterial circulation issues and conduct reflux studies for venous insufficiency. Familiarity with all diagnostic ultrasound equipment is crucial. While experience in vascular sonography is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Examinations will be conducted both in our outpatient office and at off-site locations, requiring travel between sites. You will be based out of our Kearny, NJ office, but will see patients in the Passaic/Paramus/Hackensack/Paterson areas. You will be partnered with a nurse practitioner for all patient visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams.
• Transfer and position patients appropriately on the ultrasound table.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Record and interpret findings in a preliminary report for diagnostic purposes.
