Job summary

Pulse Vascular, LLC in New Jersey seeks a mobile Ultrasound Technologist to perform vascular studies at outpatient offices and off-site locations. You will travel between sites and base out of the Kearny office, serving Passaic, Paramus, Hackensack, and Paterson areas with a nurse practitioner for patient visits.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, positioning, operating ultrasound equipment, and documenting preliminary findings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology (Required).
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• RVT certification preferred; candidate must obtain RVT within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Prepare patients for exams.
• Transfer and position patients on the ultrasound table.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Record and interpret findings in a preliminary report for diagnostic purposes.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled mobile Ultrasound Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies in vascular sonography for our patients in the North Jersey area. The successful candidate will independently execute vascular ultrasounds to assist providers in identifying arterial circulation issues and conduct reflux studies for venous insufficiency. Familiarity with all diagnostic ultrasound equipment is crucial. While experience in vascular sonography is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Examinations will be conducted both in our outpatient office and at off-site locations, requiring travel between sites. You will be based out of our Kearny, NJ office, but will see patients in the Passaic/Paramus/Hackensack/Paterson areas. You will be partnered with a nurse practitioner for all patient visits.
