Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree/technical training preferred.
• BLS CPR certification and active registry/licensure in radiography/sonography as applicable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; proficient with radiology software and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols.
• Verify patient identity and clinical history prior to scanning.
• Position patients and operate transducers to obtain optimal images and data.
• Document findings accurately in EMR and PACS.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and privacy.
• Maintain infection control and PPE usage; clean and stock exam rooms.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for continuity of care.
