Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Peoria, Illinois. The role performs diagnostic ultrasound exams with ARDMS/RVT credentials, and requires BLS. Work involves 36 hours weekly, 12-hour shifts, and staff-based employment.

You will collaborate with physicians and radiology staff to ensure high-quality imaging, accurate documentation, patient comfort, and safety in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Registered ARDMS and RVT are required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Education: completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Sonography program.
• Experience: at least 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred (abdominal, pelvic, vascular).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studies.
• Operate ultrasound and PACS systems; document in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies per hospital policy.
• Communicate with patients to provide comfort and obtain cooperation.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and notify providers of abnormalities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
