Required ARDMS and RVT credentials and BLS certification. The position is staff, ongoing, 36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Required ARDMS and RVT credentials.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Education: Radiologic Technology or Sonography program completion.
• Experience: 1 year ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studies.
• Operate ultrasound and PACS systems; document in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies per hospital policy.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and gain cooperation.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and notify providers of abnormalities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
