• Identifies catheters and biopsy instruments, prepares trays
• Obtains accurate histories and explains procedure to patients
• Enhances image quality using transducers and machine settings
• Evaluates finished images and forwards to radiologists
• Maintains clean work area and stocks supplies
• Assists radiologist with biopsy and radiology-related tasks
