Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations across clinical specialties, ensuring patient safety and data quality. You will review patient history, prepare imaging rooms, and assist radiologists with procedures.

Experience in PACS/EMR, ARDMS/ABRS preferred. PRN with variable shifts; on-call may be required to deliver timely patient care at Mercyhealth sites in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for sonography examinations.
• Perform diagnostic sonography and provide preliminary findings.
• Review patient history and assist with QA and image sharing.
