Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• ARDMS or ARRT sonography registration or registry eligible; must register within 12 months.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for sonography exams per safety protocols.
• Review patient history, prep, contraindications, and document findings.
• Operate PACS/EMR, archive images, and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and provide education to students and residents.
