Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Gig Ultrasound Technologist to operate imaging equipment, primarily ultrasound, to support diagnosis and treatment. The role requires proficiency, patient safety, and high-quality imaging standards, with duties across Mercy facilities. You will float between Mercy Hospital St.

Louis and surrounding communities; base rate $45/hour with W-2 incentives and flexible scheduling. Qualifications include ARDMS/ARRT/CCI registries, sonography education, 1 year experience, and BLS;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography with required clinical hours.
• 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience.
• 2 registries with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI within the work area.
• BLS certification; state licensure may be required depending on practice state.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and software.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high-quality images.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide care.
• Float between Mercy facilities as needed.
