Bon Secours is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at St. Francis Eastside to perform ultrasound procedures and produce diagnostic images for licensed practitioner interpretation. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and adherence to imaging workflows.

Required education includes an AMA allied health ultrasound program (Associates). Preferred credentials include ARDMS/ARRT, BLS, and RDMS in various specialties, with experience in EPIC EHR and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Associates, AMA allied health training program in Ultrasound (required)
• Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by ARDMS or ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 2 years)
• BLS – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required prior to direct patient care)
• RDMS in Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics/Gynecology (preferred)
• 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Tech (preferred)
• EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
• PACS (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Confirms the quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of all pertinent patient, lab, and procedural data.
• Knowledge in workflows, procedures, and processes of the imaging modalities.
• Responsible for patient documentation, procedure preparation and instructions.
• Documents sonographer's impressions and relays findings to physician.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and the education of new staff.
