Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is recruiting for an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under physician specifications and established protocols. The role includes patient instruction, collaboration with radiologists, and delivering high-quality images across designated anatomy.

Maintain safety, equipment, and department standards in a 24-hour open ultrasound area. Minimum qualifications include CAHEA-approved education and ARDMS certification with at least 1 year

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS certification in good standing
• Ability to handle medical confidentiality and ethics
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
• Understand patient age-related care from neonatal to geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and protocols
• Identify patients and provide guidance on ultrasound procedures
• Consult with radiologist and deliver high-quality scans
• Maintain equipment and sanitation standards and report malfunctions
• Assist in training new staff and support continuous department safety

AR/ARDMS certification
