Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in our radiology department. You will produce high-quality images, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

The role requires proficiency with ultrasound equipment, adherence to protocols, and accurate documentation while maintaining sterile technique and equipment care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or RDMS credential.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ARRT/ARDMS/SDMS/CCI registered or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with high-quality imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and supply levels; ensure sterile technique.
• Document all data accurately in PACS/RIS and patient records.
