Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Muhlenberg area. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate ultrasound equipment, and ensure patient safety and image quality.

You may participate in call rotations and support radiologists with timely, accurate results. The role requires ARDMS certification and completion of an approved sonography program; 1 year of ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program.
• ARDMS certification in diagnostic medical sonography (RDMS).
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams per protocol and physician orders.
• Guides patients and provides instruction for procedures.
• Reviews orders and consults with radiologist; delivers high quality imaging.
