Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to perform exams and invasive procedures per physician specifications. You will work with radiologists, ensure image quality, and participate in department safety and training.

The role requires ARDMS certification, CAHEA-approved education, and at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, with a focus on patient care and ethics. Onsite schedule with 24-hour department coverage.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an approved CAHEA school of diagnostic medical sonography or certification program.
• ARDMS certification and active registration.
• 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience in abdominal, gynecology or vascular Doppler applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures following physician orders and established protocols.
• Identify patients and provide instruction for ultrasound procedures.
• Deliver high quality scans and communicate results to radiologists.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness and safety, and participate in safety programs.
