Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasound exams for adult and geriatric patients in designated hospital areas. You will document patient history, maintain image quality, and assist radiologists under supervision.

The role requires RDMS (or RDMS pending within 1 year), BLS certification, and 1–2 years hospital experience. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to patient care quality and department standards.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasonography or equivalent.
• RDMS required; RVT or RVS certification to be attained within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound exams and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Obtain and document patient information/history to perform exams.
• Maintain high accuracy in exam performance and image quality.
