Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiac Sonography; registry-eligible RDCS within one year of hire.
• At least six months of directly related acute care experience.
• Education/Experience preferred: at least two years in an acute care setting.

Responsabilités

• Performs inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound exams per physician orders in Cardiology or remote with unit equipment.
• Reviews inpatient charts and gathers symptoms/history; interviews outpatient patients.
• Acquires cardiac ultrasound images and compiles a preliminary report for Cardiologist.
• Processes patient billing data and maintains equipment cleanliness after exams.
