Job summary

Slocum-Dickson Medical Group seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join our outpatient imaging team in a full-time capacity. You will perform abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, pediatrics, vascular and small parts exams, and support radiologists with ultrasound procedures.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, collaboration with imaging staff, and strict adherence to protocols. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements, ensuring a stable

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Current ARRT certification and NY State license required.
• ARDMS certification preferred; willing to obtain if not yet registered within 1 year.
• Experience across abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, pediatrics, vascular and small parts.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound theory, technique, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, pediatrics, vascular and small parts.
• Conduct Doppler/duplex studies as appropriate and assist physicians during procedures.
• Provide compassionate patient care and review prior imaging and reports.
• Enter and retrieve data in EPIC/PACS and document QA activities.
• Maintain supplies, calibrate equipment, and uphold imaging protocols.
